Charlie Plex (b. 1958/1959) is a Ravenclaw student at Hogwarts. Despite being in a relationship with Cassidy Gamp at the time, he had a sexual relationship with Donna Shacklebolt for several months. She ended it when he revealed his desire to break up with Cassidy and be in a real romantic relationship with her.
The summer before seventh year, he meets prefect Clancy Goshawk at one of his brother's parties and they begin to go out. They broke up, however, when Marlene Price informs Clancy that he had been cheating on her with Shelley Mumps.
All sexual escapades aside, he is shown to still want to be with Donna whilst holding a grudge against her for rejecting him.

During his Christmas party over the break, he sleeps with Donna Shacklebolt despite having a girlfriend, Cassidy Gamp. Back in school, he approaches her one day with a knowing smile and reminds her of their sexual escapade.

Charlie starts sleeping with Donna regularly despite dating Cassidy.
"The Quaffle and the Snitch"[]
Donna calls Charlie to meet her in a deserted classroom and chides him for feeling her up when his girlfriend was right there. He says that he's thinking about breaking it off soon with her, Donna, but when he kisses her, he tells her that he wouldn't really have done it, to which Donna replies that she knows.

- Donna Shacklebolt: "I don't want you. I don't have feelings for you. This was—this was just a mistake. I know this doesn't sound like me, but I—I really don't want to hurt you, Charlie. I just—I don't have feelings for you."
- Charlie Plex: "So all this time—you've really just... you've really been just as much of a bitch as you've seemed.. You didn't mind risking my relationship—screwing with my mind... and you didn't even like me?"
- Donna Shacklebolt: "Charlie..."

Charlie starts taking more initiative to arrange meetings with Donna. During a meeting, he tells Donna that he's breaking up with Cassidy because he wants to be with her. Donna moves away and demands him to explain himself. Charlie insists that he likes her and that he's fine with things not having to change if she doesn't want to date. Donna interrupts him to tell him that she has no feelings for him. Charlie calls her a heartless bitch for risking his relationship when she didn't even like him before slamming the door behind him.
"To End a Year"[]
Charlie confesses to sleeping with Donna to Cassidy in the hopes of it being revenge on Donna. However, he ends up with a set of purple testicles form Cassidy.
Seventh year[]
"The Worst Day Ever"[]
Charlie runs into Donna on the train. He blocks her path and when Donna snaps at him to move, he ignores her, replying that she didn't write all summer. Donna makes a hasty exit but Charlie calls after her, saying that he saw Donna with her first-year sister, Bridget, and that he hopes she's sorted into Ravenclaw so he can tell her about 'what an easy shag her older sis is'.
After Bridget is sorted into Ravenclaw, Donna hears Charlie calling out to her. She moves out of the queue towards the Gryffindor Tower and Charlie catches up to her. He tells her that he had noticed that her sister made Ravenclaw, and that they'll have plenty to talk about as both of them had intimate knowledge about Donna. Donna remains silent the whole time and when Charlie finally says Bridget's name, she begins to talk, telling him that she's not afraid of him or even hated him because she didn't care enough about him. She continues on her rant and Charlie only turns with a hateful glare towards his own Common Room.

He has auburn hair, brown eyes and freckles. He is also tall.
